Palangka Raya, 3-4 June 2026. inKUR (the National Federation of People-based Cooperative Enterprises of Indonesia) held its National Annual Member Meeting (RAT) for Fiscal Year 2025 in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan, hosted by Koperasi Persekutuan Dayak (KPD) Kalteng. For two days, board members, supervisors, and delegates of member cooperatives gathered for a packed programme: seminars and a talkshow on the first day, the RAT plenary on the second day, closed by a business showcase and a visit to the host’s retail outlets.
Day One: Opening Mass, Remarks, and Three Seminars
The first day opened with a Mass, followed by remarks from the various parties present in support of the real-sector cooperative movement. After the opening, the programme moved into the main session of the day: three back-to-back seminars featuring speakers from both the credit union and the real-sector cooperative movements.
The first seminar was delivered by Rita Sarlawa of CU Betang Asi, a credit union based in Central Kalimantan. She presented how CU Betang Asi is strengthening its support for real-sector cooperatives, particularly for Koperasi Persekutuan Dayak Kalteng as the host of the meeting. The presentation underlined a pattern that has become a hallmark of this movement: credit unions and real-sector cooperatives supporting one another within a single ecosystem.
The second seminar featured speakers from Puskopdit Khatulistiwa and Inkopdit (the Credit Union Central of Indonesia), who spoke about the co-operative commonwealth: the grand vision of a network of cooperatives that are interconnected and mutually enriching, a theme that has long been a common thread of the inKUR movement.
The third seminar was delivered by Munaldus, the initiator and advisor of inKUR. He spoke about how this real-sector cooperative movement is to be built into a strong cooperative ecosystem, one that returns to the fundamental principle of cooperatives: from the members, by the members, and for the members.

Talkshow: Palm Oil, Cocoa, and Retail
The second session of day one took the form of a talkshow on the palm oil plantation industry, cocoa, and the retail sector. These three fields were not chosen at random; all three are lines of business being seriously developed by inKUR’s member cooperatives, from members’ plantations in Kalimantan to retail outlets serving people’s daily needs.
The day-one talkshow covered the palm oil plantation industry, cocoa, and the retail sector.
Day Two: The RAT Plenary, inKUR Link, and Two New Members
The second day was the heart of the whole programme: the Annual Member Meeting plenary. The inKUR Board and Supervisory Board delivered their accountability reports for Fiscal Year 2025 before the delegates of member cooperatives, an expression of the organisation’s accountability to its true owners, the members.

At the same forum, a cooperation agreement was signed for the development of inKUR Link, a further step in strengthening the connections between cooperatives across the inKUR network.

A moment warmly welcomed by participants was the inauguration of two new members: MK Agro and Koperasi Jasa Multipihak Sasuka Teknologi Indonesia. MK Agro had earlier been prepared to join as a new node in the cocoa supply chain in West Kalimantan, while Sasuka Teknologi Indonesia broadens the range of business fields within inKUR. With these two new members, inKUR’s membership grows from 11 to 13 cooperatives.

Business Showcase and an Evening at the KPD Outlets
After the plenary, the programme continued with a business showcase session. Several inKUR member cooperatives presented their products and business models, introducing to one another what is being worked on in their respective regions and opening up opportunities for collaboration between members.
The two-day programme closed with a visit to Gerai KPD Swalayan, the host’s retail business unit, followed by the atmosphere of KPD Night in the evening. For many participants, this visit was a grounding way to end the meeting: seeing first-hand how a real-sector cooperative shows up and serves the community through a real store.
inKUR is the national federation of real-sector cooperatives, legally established in May 2017, headquartered in Pontianak, and a member of the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA). The National Annual Member Meeting for Fiscal Year 2025 in Palangka Raya reaffirmed the direction of this movement: a cooperative ecosystem that grows from the members, is run by the members, and returns its fruits to the members.
