Begitulah seharusnya gerakan KSR berjalan: aksi, refleksi, aksi lagi.
Bukan sekadar lembaga koperasi, tetapi gerakan pemberdayaan.
Masalah berikutnya adalah kebiasaan berjalan sendiri-sendiri. Bahkan sering kali KSR saling bersaing, seolah-olah mereka bukan bagian dari satu gerakan yang sama. Blueprint ini mencoba memecah kebiasaan itu. Ia mendorong integrasi horizontal. Kerja sama. Investasi bersama. Advokasi bersama. Bahkan solidaritas yang diikat secara kontraktual.
Ini seperti lidi. Satu lidi mudah patah.
Apakah usaha anggota hidup?
Apakah kepercayaan anggota meningkat?
Apakah anggota merasa terbantu?
Blueprint inKUR 2017-2027 bukan janji kesempurnaan.
Refleksi atas Blueprint inKUR 2017-2027, Strong Presence of “Co-op Movement” in the Marketplace to Countervail Neo-Liberal & Capitalistic System.
There is an old illness in the cooperative movement: too much thinking, too little moving.
Long meetings. Layered discussions. Colorful presentations. But in the field-silence. No meaningful change. Members keep walking alone. Their businesses keep stumbling. The Real Sector Cooperative (KSR) feels like a machine that lives on paper, but is dead in real life.
Do you still remember the inKUR Blueprint 2017-2027? It was born from unease. It did not want to become a document neatly stored in a cabinet. It wanted to become something alive-sweating, moving, and making impact.
That is why it chose a word rarely used seriously in practice: praxis.
Praxis is not a word beautiful to quote. It is a word that demands courage. It is like a quiet order: do not stop at thought. Come down to the ground. Do something. See the result. Then be honest with yourself-does it work or not?
If not, fix it. If it works, expand it. Then do it again.
Like a farmer who never stops learning from the seasons. Like a fisherman who reads the sea from experience, not from books. That is how the KSR movement should move: action, reflection, action again. Never finished. Never satisfied.
The inKUR Blueprint 2017-2027, praxis-based, Heart & Soul: Social Capital at the center, surrounded by five Mind & Body pillars: leadership, empowerment, member consolidation, horizontal integration, and contribution to social democracy.
The blueprint draws a very clear line. On one side is ideology-called heart and soul. On the other side is real action-mind and body.
The two must not be separated. If they are, the KSR loses direction or loses power.
Many cooperatives are strong in numbers but empty in soul. Many also are full of ideological passion but do not know how to move the business. This blueprint tries to unite the heart and the muscle. So that what beats is not in vain, and what moves does not lose meaning.
At this point, leadership becomes the key. But not the kind of leadership comfortable in meeting rooms. Not the kind skilled at speaking but hesitant to act.
This blueprint seems to say: leaders in a KSR must dare to get their hands dirty. Must be ready to take risk. Must have business instinct.
What is interesting, it turns around a way of thinking long considered correct. Usually people make a plan first, then move. Here, it is the opposite. Act first. Feel reality. Then formulate strategy.
As if the blueprint whispers: life never waits for our plans to be finished. So why must we wait to begin?
Innovation too is not placed as a grand word echoing in seminars. It is pulled down into something very concrete:
Building a KSR database
Reading potentials
Accompanying those who can grow
Spreading what has worked
Driving collective action
This is not innovation born of imagination, but of necessity.
Like a seed that is not enough merely to be discussed. It must be planted, watered, and guarded together. Otherwise, it remains a seed-never becoming a tree.
Then, about members. For a long time, cooperatives have been proud of their numbers. The more, the greater. But this blueprint quietly reminds us: numbers can deceive.
A thousand powerless members are not stronger than a hundred growing members.
That is why the focus shifts. No longer merely adding members, but building members. Accompanying their businesses. Opening market access. Strengthening their capacity.
Members are no longer seen as statistical numbers, but as human beings who must grow.
Here the KSR returns to its true identity. Not merely a cooperative institution, but a movement of empowerment.
The next problem is the habit of walking alone. Often KSRs even compete with each other, as if they are not part of the same movement. This blueprint tries to break that habit. It pushes horizontal integration. Cooperation. Joint investment. Joint advocacy. Even solidarity bound by contract.
It is like a broomstick’s twigs. One twig breaks easily. But when bound together, they become a strong broom. Our KSR movement will never be great if it stays divided. It will only be strong if it becomes a network that mutually strengthens.
But all of that must in the end flow into one thing: impact. Not impact in reports. Not impact in presentations. But impact that is felt by people.
Are the members’ businesses alive?
Has members’ trust grown?
Do members feel helped?
If the answer is no, then all those strategies mean nothing.
This blueprint understands something often forgotten: a KSR is not just about money. It is about people. About trust. About hope. About the courage to rise together.
Most fascinating, the greatest result hoped for is actually something that cannot be counted at once. It is social capital. Growing trust. Strengthening solidarity. Leadership with integrity.
Like the roots of a tree. Unseen. But without them, the tree will not stand.
And at the end of it all, there is one message that feels very simple, but is actually very heavy to carry out: walk the talk. Do not merely speak. Do not merely design. Do it.
A movement that lives only in words will die by those very words. But a movement that dares to act, even when wrong, will keep learning and growing.
The inKUR Blueprint 2017-2027 is not a promise of perfection. It is not a straight road without obstacles. It is more like a footpath through a forest-sometimes clear, sometimes lost. But one thing is certain: it must be walked, not imagined.
And perhaps that is where the true power lies. This blueprint does not offer certainty. It offers courage.
The courage to begin.
The courage to be wrong.
The courage to fix.
The courage to keep moving.
Because in the end, inKUR is not an organization on paper.
inKUR is us.
