Perspektif Koperasi Sektor Riil

Jakarta, 13 October 2026. The launch of the Global Partnership Platform (GPP) and the Korea-Indonesia Partnership Discovery Forum 2026 took place at the Auditorium of the Ministry of Cooperatives of the Republic of Indonesia, Jakarta. Held by the Green Innovation Cooperation Center (GICC) together with the Korea-Indonesia Industry and Technology Cooperation Center (KITC), the event brought together 123 participants from 77 companies, 57 from Indonesia and 20 from South Korea, to explore opportunities for business, technology, and innovation partnerships.
The forum was opened by GICC Director Kim Heesoon, followed by remarks from KITC Director Dr. Sung Jihyun and Henra Saragih, Deputy for Institutions and Digitalization of Cooperatives at the Ministry of Cooperatives. The programme included the launch and demonstration of GPP by Prof. Dr. Ir. Through these sessions, participants could learn about the needs and capabilities of potential partners, introduce their own businesses, and open communication for further cooperation.
A Platform for Finding Partners
GICC and KITC introduced GPP as a digital tool to help companies, cooperatives, MSMEs, and start-ups find partners. Its company directory allows searches by country and industry sector, while its events section helps users access business forums and opportunities to meet potential partners.
At the forum, KITC explained its role in connecting business needs in Indonesia with the technological capabilities and the network of South Korean government research institutions. This connection opens room to explore technology development and joint research. GICC supported meetings and network access by organising the forum and launching the partnership platform.

A Real-Sector Cooperative Perspective
Induk Koperasi Usaha Rakyat Indonesia (inKUR) took part through Hutri Nuryani, inKUR’s delegate to the ICA Asia-Pacific Youth Committee, from KJMP Sasuka Teknologi Indonesia. inKUR’s presence brought the perspective of real-sector cooperatives to a forum that connects business needs with technology providers and international networks.

As a federation of cooperatives, inKUR gathers the needs of its member cooperatives and facilitates access to knowledge, capacity building, and partnership networks. Taking part in this forum is in line with inKUR’s services in education, business consulting, international networks, and research to support the development of member cooperatives.
For cooperatives, the value of the forum lies in the chance to learn about technology options, study approaches to business development, and find suitable partners. These opportunities can be assessed further against operational needs, financing capacity, management readiness, and the benefits that members would receive.
Sasuka’s experience in developing and supporting digital systems for cooperatives can also provide technical input in this exploration. In this way, the needs gathered through the federation can be discussed together with practical experience of applying technology on the ground.
On the sidelines of the forum, Hutri visited the Kemenkop National Command Center (KNCC).
Next Steps
Through this event, inKUR gained additional information and connections as input for assessing collaboration opportunities for its member cooperatives. Follow-up communication with potential partners will help clarify needs, the fit of possible solutions, and the forms of cooperation that could be developed.
inKUR is the national federation of real-sector cooperatives, legally established in May 2017, headquartered in Pontianak, and a member of the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA).
